YDM is free software distributed under the GNU General Public License v3. You may use, study, modify, and redistribute it under the terms of that license. The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.
Acceptable use
- Download only content you own, content offered under a permissive license (such as Creative Commons), or content you have explicit permission to save.
- Do not use YDM to infringe copyright, to circumvent access controls on content you are not entitled to, or to violate any applicable law.
- Respect YouTube's Terms of Service and the terms of any other site whose content you access.
No affiliation
YDM is developed by QANEN and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to YouTube or Google LLC. “YouTube” is a trademark of Google LLC, referenced only to describe the software's compatibility.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QANEN is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use YDM, including any consequences of downloading content in violation of third-party terms or applicable law. You are solely responsible for how you use the software.

These terms may be updated with new releases of YDM; the version published on this page always applies to the current release.
